Clare Williams has
long been recognised as one of the nation's foremost equine
photographers. A member of the Horserace Writers' and Photographers'
Association, she has contributed to numerous publications, notably the
prestige "Racehorses" annuals, for which she has provided posed
portraits of horses in training since 1995.
An accomplished horsewoman herself, she has ridden since early childhood, and among her achievements in the saddle was a victory in the Newmarket Town Plate on Cubic Zirconia in 1987.
A keen enthusiast for all forms of horse sport, Clare brings a true horsewoman's perspective to her work, as may be seen from the examples on the Gallery page.
While specialising in equine subjects, Clare has also acquired a reputation as an imaginative photographer of social occasions. She will accept commissions for weddings, parties, etc.
